Spend an unforgettable summer evening under the stars at our first ever Night Sky Social, an outdoor experience combining great food, handcrafted cocktails, and guided stargazing.

Your $45 ticket includes:

A specialty cocktail station featuring handcrafted cocktails inspired by the night sky• BBQ dinner from Uptown Hog with smoked burnt ends and house-made sides• Access to our VIP seating area• Live custom engraving station to personalize your keepsake while you enjoy the evening• Guided stargazing experience with the Springfield Astronomical Society

Members of the Springfield Astronomical Society will be bringing several professional telescopes with the ability to view planets, the Moon, star clusters, and other fascinating celestial objects. Whether you've looked through a telescope before or it's your first time, volunteers will be available throughout the evening to answer questions and help you explore the night sky.

Even better, August 13 falls during the annual Perseid Meteor Shower, one of the year's best opportunities to catch shooting stars. With clear skies, you may see dozens of meteors streaking overhead throughout the evening.

This event is open to the general public. You do not need to purchase a ticket to enjoy the telescope viewing or visit the Springfield Astronomical Society's viewing stations. Guests are welcome to stop by, look through the telescopes, and experience the night sky at no cost.

Tickets are only required for guests who would like to enjoy the BBQ dinner, specialty cocktail experience, VIP seating, and live custom engraving.

Additional Information

This is a family-friendly event, and children are welcome. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening for those not participating in the ticketed experience. A portion of ticket sales will go to benefit the Springfield Astrological Society.

Please note that while Night Sky Social is taking place, the rest of the 14 Mill Market vendors will be closed.
